    December 2006 - A drug developed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University has won approval from the US FDA. Vorinostat (Zolinza™) -- also known by its chemical name suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) -- was approved in October for the treatment of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
